When water flows into Lake Eyre, the Landscape becomes a watercolour Canvas of colour, pattern and texture best viewed from the air.
The currents, winds, differing depths, algae, and the country surrounding the lake combine on multiple levels to create a dynamic ever changing and incredibly diverse feast for the eye. But more than that ,like all powerful natural places a feast for the soul.

The currents, winds, differing depths, algae, and the country surrounding the lake combine on multiple levels to create a dynamic ever changing and incredibly diverse feast for the eye. But more than that ,like all powerful natural places a feast for the soul.
Reducing this vast landscape to small windows allows me to get a sense of the beautiful complexity of the relationship it has when mixed with water. It is an ancient place of extreme weather cycles of drought and flood. 15 Metres below Sea Level it's like an enormous sink in the middle of the Continent. A mysterious and breathtaking place so beautiful it hurts.
